Fiberglass Pool Repaint - Glitter?

We will be refinishing and repainting our fiberglass pool this spring ahead of summer. Thoughts on adding glitter into the paint mixture? Not too much, just a subtle touch of silver or gold glitter. Could also provide some nice traction on the steps and floor. Anyone have experience with this?
