ePassport works only in home country.

Hi all

I recently renewed my Indonesian passport and opted for the ePassport version.

Was excited to finally be able to use the autogates but I realised they are only ever successful when I scan them in Indonesia.

Ive scanned them in Singapore, Australia, and South Korea - all of them failed and I was redirected to the immigration desk to be manually allowed through.

Is this a my passport issue or is this an all Indonesian passport issue?
