Excruciating pain after laparoscopy

Medications and pain management

Hi All, I had my second laparoscopy yesterday. I had some tissue removed from my bladder and other areas. After my first laparoscopy I was walking normally once anesthetic worn-out. I was just on paracetamol. It was less pain then the pain caused by endo, so I managed it very well. Not big deal at all.
However, this time once the anesthetic stopped working I couldn't breathe because of pain, I have got fever and I was shaking. I never had such a bad pain (and I had broken vertebrae, in pieces, I thought that was worst possible pain). It took an hour to ease my pain with paracetamol, codeine and morphine. However, I still could feel it. Whole night I was getting 5mg morphine every 2h, but I still couldn't sleep because of pain. Now I am on 10mg morphine, codeine and paracetamol. It is better again, but the area of my bladder still is hurting a lot. The nurse told me that I am going home today and I asked what is a plan for my pain. She said paracetamol every 6h. Is that ok? I am really terrified of the prospect to have the same pain as yesterday, once morphine and codeine will stop working. Did anyone had similar experience? Did you feel better the next day? Doctor should see me earlier today, but he didn't and now he left hospital. I don't know what to do.
