Advice on upgrading from an GTX 1080 to a RTX 4060 Ti 8GB for 1440p

Build Help

I'm looking at finally upgrading my trusty EVGA GTX 1080. I game at 1440p and I'm ok with turning down settings and using DLSS.

With prices how they are now, does the 4060ti for £380 seem like a good purchase?

The non-ti is £280 for reference but that one seems a bit too slow, the 4060ti hits the level I'm happy with around the budget I want. (£350-£400).

The 9070 is too expensive for me and the 4070 (normal, not super or TI) is now either sold out or £600!

The 7700xt looks interesting but I much prefer DLSS over FSR, especially as DLSS 4.0 is backwards compatible and FSR4 is not. The 7700xt is £400.

I had debated buying in black friday last year but thought best to hold off until the 5000 series, I regret that now!
