Pilot said turbulence is expected. I’m uncomfortable, but the transparency was appreciated

I’m actually relieved he said something — that, and explained the de-icing process. It made me feel a more prepared and informed.

We haven’t taken off yet, but I just have to remind my self uncomfortable ≠ dangerous.
