Dedicated RAM and Shared RAM
Heya, so for awhile I've been trying to run Monster Hunter: Wilds, a hot new game from my favourite franchise, on my laptop (half a pc) and I'm having quite a bit of trouble. Did a bunch of stuff and modding to no avail. So, then I got into the rabbit hole of RAM and stuff. From what I learnt, Dedicated RAM is what's physically there on the GPU, and Shared is the common pool for the system. My laptop has only 4GB of dedicated, and 8GB of Shared. When running the game, 99% of the 4GB is used and maybe 0.1GB is showing up on the Shared graph. So, is there any saving grace for me to play this game in the future in this system (considering the game is optimized better in the future by CAPCOM)?
