What are good career options?

I am feeling a bit lost when it comes to my career for my future. Possibly because I haven’t really gotten the chance to explore the many options, or just because there are too many options.

I plan to go to college at some point and originally considered going to become a Veterinarian. At least until I realized my state does not have a veterinary school and the closest are incredibly out of budget.

With me also finally getting the opportunity to explore my own interest and such, I also considered international languages. Teaching English to non-native speakers. Issue is, now I am unsure about that as well.

The reason I wanted to consider that option was the chance to travel. Though I realized that wouldn’t even be viable as the language that primarily interested me is Japanese. Do not get me wrong, I will still learn either way! I have just been incredibly interested in Japan as well as Japanese culture for the past year or so. Now thinking about it though, I have no support here, if I was to move there for a year or however long I would be assigned. Then return back to America, there would be a good chance I would not be able to afford to live here. Asian countries pay less so the stress would be a bit much for me.

I am just curious if there would be other careers that would suit my interest? I just have no idea where to look.

I am interested in nature, traveling, art, other cultures, video games, photography, and writing just to name a few. Due to my own experiences I know I could not handle a repetitive career or anything extremely stressful. It may cut down my options quite a bit but I am also seeking something higher paying.

Any recommendations I could look into would be heavily appreciated!
