Jan 28 i had an emergency loop ileostomy done and am home healing

Large mid line incision with wound vac and ostomy bag. Should be reversible

My question is what is typical weight loss after a procedure like this and how long before weight loss levels off?

July 2022 i was 385lbs and had gastric sleeve done in august 2022. Lowest i got was 285 or so but gained some back over the last 2+ years

Right before this emergency surgery i was 305.

Since the surgery i have lost allot of weight.

I am currently sitting at 261 with 44 lost so far or about 16% body weight

This feels like allot fast. I am eating as much as i can and drinking protein

Dont get me wrong, im glad to loss weight but this seems like too much too fast

I did wind up with a staph infection that landed me back in the hospital 8 days ago on Friday snd got out Tuesday. While in the hospital they had me on vancomycin and now home im on Bactrim
