Remette Peregrine Falcon Detent Adjustment

Hello all,

Quick question about the Remette Peregrine Falcon, is there a way to adjust the detent on this knife at least like... fairly easily?

I wanna lighten the deployment strength on the knife if I can. Initially I assumed I just need to break it in/use it more, and that might still be the case. But right now it almost feels... wrong, like theres a strong detent, and then theres "breaking your fingernail on the jimping trying to reverse flick it" strong.

Like, at the current strength there is zero chance I can open it with the front flipper by thumb or index finger.

I saw a full breakdown on YT but it seems insanely complicated and I don't think I could really do all that, or at the very least put it back together.

Should I get some knife/gun oil and try applying it to the hinge for now and see if that helps?

Help would be appreciated, as I really enjoy the knife, but its just real hard to use/fidget with rn
