Less than 2 month old Ideapad 5, not charging anymore?

I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 5 on 1/9, and as of this morning I went to plug it in, it does not charge. No light comes on, nothing. I’ve tried different outlets, restarting PC, checking the connections between wall to block to pc.

This isn’t the first issue I’ve had, when I first got the laptop, if I closed the laptop, I’d come back a few hours later and the entire bottom was very hot to the touch. It was on top of a wooden table so it wasn’t a ventilation problem I wouldn’t think. Didn’t happen every time but every few times, I ended up just fixing this by changing the settings so the laptop turns off when I close it. Not sure if this is related to the charging problem.

Anybody have any suggestions?
