I want a second opinion on this what i should do about my defective B550 Motherboard.

Here is the situation the 2.5 Gigabit Lan Port on Asrock B550 Steel Legend is broken to the point that no Operting System can not see it and therefore not use it. I went through enough self troubleshooting to know that its an Hardware issue.

So right now i have an relative hard time deciding if should get an Usb to Ethernet Adapter and hope that the rest of my Motherboard still works correctly till i saved enough money to switch from AM4 to AM5, or bit the bullet and get a new AM4 B550 Motherboard.

What do you guys thing?

(The Usb Ethernet Adapters i could find start around 15 euro. The cheapest new B550 that meets my requirements would cost about 104 Euro and i could pick it up immediately for that price, at a local shop.
