Planning a road trip from Germany to Italy and France with an EV. What should I be aware of?

Hi all. Last year we did a read trip to Italy and apart from getting the Italian toll device thing and having some issues with charging infrastructure in small cities as well very narrow parking, it was a pleasant experience. This year we're planing to go to Italy then to France and back to Germany. Does anyone have any tips or advice to keep in mind for us? Changes in laws, expectations, etc.? Probably I should post this in Italy or France subreddits if they have them, but maybe people here can share their experiences that I can relate to more.

BTW: Our car is an EV so we'll need to stop every few hundred kilometers or so.
