RPGmakerXP best console options?

I’m currently working on my own game in RPGmakerXP and am really looking for a retro feel and want to play it on a handheld console. From what I’ve gathered it takes some work to get these files to run on a handheld and am just looking at what console would have the highest chance of working and what steps I need to take in order to make it work.
