Incognito mode may be bugged

I’m pretty sure it’s saving the search history or the cookies.

I always close out my tabs after using incognito mode and use a new one the next time. I was getting recommendations similar to the last time I had used it. Could this be a bug or am I just wrong about incognito mode and how it works?
