What happens after someone files a claim against me

Last night I was backing out of a parking space of my work, a car backed out of the drive thru at my work and I accidentally backed into them. It dented their doors down at the bottom. I gave them my info but they didn't give me theirs. What will happen after they file the claim? My mom said they might try to twist the story and say I did more than what actually happened, and I read that attorneys get involved. I was told to not admit it was my fault but it obviously was. The other driver took pictures of their car and mine. It was my first time getting into an accident so I was freaked out and not really thinking straight and didn't think to ask for any info. I was told once the statement and pictures were turned in to insurance that my insurance would just cover it and my insurance price would go up.
