A Switch is all I need?

In all prior places I've lived, I've always had access to the router to plug in my PC, gaming consoles, and whatever else needed. However, I'm moving to a new apartment where the router isn't easily accessible and I believe each port is in use for the wall jacks. The living room and bedrooms only have a single ethernet jack in the wall.
I wanted to make sure a switch is all I need to connect around 3-5 devices? I'll be able to use all my devices at the same time and not worry about connections/speeds? I'd like to try and get back into online streaming so I'd definitely need my PC and PS4/5 online together with best speeds possible.TV is optional, can connect that over wi-fi if need be.
