Macbook air 15 vs pro 14

I am buying my first macbook. I will use it only for reading academic paper and some presentation. I am a bit confused about display Ppl say MBP display is better. Ofc it would be when gaming or doing graphic rendering. I am wondering is there any significant difference in reading Textbook or using office software.

Currently i am using M1 pro 11 ipad for reading.
