Should I get iPad or e-ink tablet

I’m a student who’s looking at getting either an iPad or e-ink tablet. I have an iPhone and a Mac book so like it would make sense ig to get an iPad but Iike I might regret either option because I want to draw and take note however like the paper like screen on e-ink tablets and the fact that you have less distractions. So I’m stuck if you have any idea please help 🙏😰
