Constructor Championship for Co-op?

Introduced a friend to NSP last week and think to myself, a constructor championship for the multiplayer GPs would be nice. He quickly fall in love with the game feel, mechanics, and pit strategizing. However, he wasn't able to learn the maps and get up to speed in the ~2 hours or so that we played. We had fun, but felt a bit lacking for him to get just a single podium finish.

Adding a constructor score counter should be an easy boost to co-op plays, as the newer player would have something to strive for. Better yet, if every team gets some credit/perk quota to customize would be amazing.
