31F and 30M; Sexual Orientation Tension. How does one cope?

So I 31F have been married to 30M for a while and things were great. At the beginning of this year, my husband has came out as Asexual. I'm glad he is being who he truly is, but I am definitely the opposite type of person. This has made a lot of tension in our marriage and has put so much into perspective for me.

When we got together, we had a very active bedroom life. We had plans of starting our own family and now that seems to have changed dramatically. Any time the topic of sex comes up, he becomes anxious and his mood just sours. I don't want him to feel this way or push, but I feel this hard conversation needs to happen...he just wont have it.

We love eachother, there's no doubt about that. I am commited to him so cheating and an open relationship are out of the question. What can I do? Doing it on my own only goes so far and I miss that intimate contact with him. Any one else in this position?
