Help with external HDD needed

Hi fellow admins,

I am facing an issue with an external hdd. A friend of mine told me, that he dropped the hard drive and since then it started to make weird noises and is not getting recognized by his PC. So I disassembled it to just have the drive and this is the result:

So to any storage experts or someone else who does know it better than I do: Can this drive be saved? and if so: how?
