Tired Eyes

Can anyone else gauge their level of anxiety or depression by the way their eyes feel? 38F here and I remember my first few experiences with depression and anxiety where I couldn’t sleep but my eyes felt so dry and tired. I had a bout of anxiety yesterday that has carried into today and my eyes are so dry and heavy. Just curious if anyone else experiences this symptom.
