Cellular modules

So the majority of the cellular towers in my area do not transmit 2G. So a SIM900 module is out of the question. So if the SIM800 also 2G? And which of the SIM7xxx series the best? The SIM7000, SIM7600X, SIM7600E, SIM7000G, SIM7000H, SIMA7670E…I’m sooooo confused! Is there a comparison chart out there? I just want to make sure I don’t by another 2G module or chip that won’t communicate with my cellular service.

Thank you for any help you can give me on this subject!
