Periods

Im 14 and i havent gotten my period in almost a month, im not worried about me being pregnant bc ive never had sex, but i am worried about other problems, ive never had any horrible cramping, it could just be irregular, but for the time ive had my period i always got it once a month. Is there any way it could switch to irregular? Im really confused and scared to talk to my mim abt it bc i dont want to go to a lady doctor
