Video Producer/Editor for The Sims 4 Build Showcase – Creative, Story-Driven Editing Wanted! 🎥🎮
Hey Simmers and video editing pros!
I'm looking for a passionate Sims 4 fan and video producer/editor to collaborate with me on a new approach to showcasing my builds on YouTube. I primarily focus on build tour videos and also create music tour videos for my larger builds, where I feature panning shots, photos, and lo-fi beats. However, I want to shake things up and add a bit more storytelling, gameplay, and immersive cinematics to bring my builds to life in a fresh, engaging way!
What I’m looking for:
✅ Someone familiar with The Sims 4 (particularly gameplay) who can place my builds and capture creative in-game footage.
✅ An editor who enjoys storytelling and can make the lots feel alive (think Sims engaging in activities, cinematic shots, light narrative elements).
✅ Ability to create smooth, visually engaging edits that showcase my builds in a way that feels more like a trailer than a slideshow.
✅ Creative freedom! I want this to be a fun, collaborative project where you can experiment with ideas.
✅ This will be on an ad hoc basis, but I’m looking for someone to work with consistently, potentially on other types of videos as well.
I picture these videos being no more than 7-10 minutes long (but may vary for larger builds).
💰 Compensation: Starting at $20/hr
🎬 Portfolio: If you have any past work that fits (Sims-related or otherwise), I’d love to see it.
For this first project, I can provide the screenshots to be included, but the goal is to move away from static images and fully lean into immersive in-game storytelling. If this sounds like a fun gig and you’re passionate about The Sims 4 and video producing/editing, drop me a message! Let me know what Sims 4 DLC you own (or don't own if it's easier that way).
