Friendless how do i make friends

I've often struggled making friends but have always had one or two close ones this past year I have really noticed that I don't have any close friends I know a lot of people but they don't really know me. Me and my closest friend no longer do what activities together as our schedules have changed and yesterday I really realized that we're not that close anymore as she is planning on going to school in Australia and is going to go on vacation before that and take her to other close friends but did not invite me but did tell me how she is inviting them. I also have suggested a short road trip out of state about 6 months ago last night I finally texted her and her sister about actually doing it and now she doesn't want to even know before she was definitely interested. I have one other person that she lives hours away from me and my other friend that I was close to things to become very awkward after some disagreements. I'm curious on how I came to make more friends I am often forgotten about in front groups not intentionally but definitely not the center of attention. I cannot add any more activities in since I am a student I work and am pre-possessional dancer
