Preferred episode length

My episodes range from 1-2.5 hours. And I see a lot of drop off. I’m curious as to what everyone has seen in regard to length of episodes and splitting up longer interviews into pt. 1 pt.2 etc.

I personally listen to podcast that are typically longer, but I’m starting to think I should do segments.
