Help with Medicaid familyCare

have this situation I quit my job like 3 weeks ago. I have health insurance through Get covered NJ. I was paying 25 last year and this year 11 but I want to get Medicaid by NJ FamilyCare. Yesterday canceled My insurance so l'm going to have insurance until the end of this month. Do I have to wait to apply to Medicaid? I'm single living alone no kids.. also I was looking the application and it asking this question do you have any health insurance.. if I only have until the end of this month what will be the answer..
