Break Clause in Lodger Agreement - England

Due to an unfriendly, to say the least, live-in landlord, I'm looking to leave my lodging agreement (in England) early. From what I've read online this is not usually possible, however, from what I understand in my agreement there is a clause that allows me to give 4 weeks notice. Does anyone on here have any experience in this and could confirm that this is actually what this clause means? Thank you!
