Looking for one in the US

My friend recently got one and his productivity has improved immensely, so I decided that I would give it a shot.

I'm a developer, so I have to access some apps that (probably) just can't function on flip phones, so I'll probably keep my smartphone around -> thus I'm open to getting anything

Any suggestions? I probably want something durabe and long battery, and looks decent in public (any aesthetic)
