No heavy gaming. Beginner game development and maybe some 3d modeling, no rendering.

Hi. I have recently been been looking for a (probably) gaming laptop. The Lenovo LOQ seems the best deal for me but I want to carry the laptop to school often as well, so I am looking for one that is lightweight.
I will use it for programming, beginner game development and maybe 3D modeling in the future, no rendering. If a laptop with an iGPU is good enough then that is fine with me. If the zephyrus g14 was the same price here as it is in the US, I would buy it for sure.
An alright battery is nice as well, I will not be using it for any difficult tasks when not plugged in.
Any advice?
Also, do you think the price of the Zephyrus g14 might drop in the near future for some reason?
