How WSOP online rigs their game to get you to spend money

I know this might sound like a cliche post, but hear me out.

I've only been playing WSOP online for a couple weeks, but I've noticed that there are always 2 or 3 players at each table with generic names who never talk. These players will often make calls that make no sense, but will always end up winning. For example I get dealt pocket As and raise 10x the blind pre-flop. One of these players calls me with 2,7 and the flop ends up being 2,7,7 and they win the pot.

If this happened only once or twice it could be a fluke, but when it starts happening consistently you start to wonder. I noticed that this didn't happen at all when I started, but after a while of playing without spending any money, it became the norm.

So here's my theory: I believe that the draws are indeed random, however all the draws are determined at the start of the round. These 2 or 3 generic players (bots) know exactly what all the draws are, and whichever bot happens to have the hand that will beat yours will call/raise you to take your free chips. This way WSOP can guarantee their randomness algorithm is legitimate, and even have it certified by a 3rd party, while also ensuring you don't get too far ahead with free chips.

I'd be curious to try spending a couple bucks to see if I start winning against the players with generic names. I suspect I would since WSOP is incentivized to reward players for spending money (they are a business after all).

So what do you think, am I a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist, or is WSOP going to send assassins after me for exposing their billion dollar grift?
