2026 Compensatory Picks

3rd: Dan Moore Jr. 3rd/4th: Justin Fields 6th: James Daniels, Najee Harris, Donte Jackson ** Max: ** 4 picks/team

** Result: ** 3rd, 3rd or 4th, 6th (x2)

** Analysis: ** The Steelers seem to be making moves to maximize their netting of awarded draft picks. The above FAs should net them above picks at the end of those rounds. Maybe this is why these types of players were “featured” in starting positions as it maximized their value on the FA market. It sure worked with DMJ. I finally understand them wanting to start him so much even though he wasn’t in their long term plans.
