Fallout 76 isn’t my cup of tee

I’ve given fallout 76 another chance after I’ve given it many since release and I’m having a lot of trouble finding good loot, and when I fight off npcs it feels like their health is a lot higher than other fallouts and I use so much more ammo on them. I also don’t rlly understand the point of the game and what I mean by that is in fallout 4 for example ur main objective is to find ur son. What is the objective/storyline in this game? And why is it so hard to find loot,ammo, armor, and even good guns. this map may be the biggest fallout map but it feels very stale in dry in terms of detail. I was eager to explore the fallout 4 map because of how much content there was throughout every area on the map. Fallout 76 isn’t like that it’s a lot of just open land with little to no fallout lore built into it.
