Saniderm/ beach

My family is pressuring me to go to the beach even when I got 2 tattoos 4 days ago. Am I able to buy saniderm and put it on my tattoos even if it’s already peeling? I don’t want sand to get in it and I also want to cover up obviously. What seems like the best thing to do?
