Recommendations while I shop for a Tacoma

Hello all! I’ve about had it with my 2021 Ranger XLT having issues to where I’m about to trade it in and pursue a Tacoma if I don’t qualify for lemon law.

Are there any specific years or models you’d recommend to pursue?

I’m naturally drawn to the TRD Off Road models but the SRs seem to fit my needs, too.

I’ll likely tow a bass boat with it at some point but primarily use it to haul an ice shanty, kayaks, travel for a lot of fishing trips, and haul around camping gear.

Is there a mileage range you’d suggest to avoid while shopping or any known issues to keep an eye out for while doing my research?
