Anyone have a hysterectomy that can tell me their experiences?

Hey all! I had a really positive consult with a GYN and they scheduled me for a vaginal full hysterectomy. From what I read- he’s incredible with what he does and I have full faith in his capabilities. For those of you who have had the procedure- what was your healing and post-recovery experience like? I’ve had several surgeries in recent years (I had my tubes removed in 2022 and top surgery in 2023) but this feels like an entirely different beast. I’ve been talking about this with my husband since we were 15 (We are now about 32) but I have no idea what to expect after the surgery AND what it’s like when on HRT. I’ve been on T a little over 4 years now.
