Is it worth testing three thumbnails?

Whilst starting out, impressions are at a premium, so, is it worth testing out three different thumbnails, or, are we better off maybe with two (or even one)?

I spend a LOT of time on thumbnails, but am yet to see how much impact they have in testing due to the low impressions and therefore clicks they’re getting. Would I be better off just putting one thumbnail on each video?
