What’s a normal split fee?

Hi everyone!

I’m considering private practice (group practice) and I’ve had two places recommended to me with people offering to be references, but both places do a 50/50 split and expect you to advertise for yourself. I’m curious about whether this is the standard or if I should keep looking for other places. Both places serve populations that would be great fits with the populations I want to work with.
