Mod Post - Eclipse Discord Livestream - Info and RSVP

Tomorrow night, we will be hosting a temporary Discord for the subreddit. It will open probably a couple of hours before the eclipse starts and it will be closed when the eclipse is over. We will be making a post with a link to the Discord in the subreddit when it's open for you guys to join.

To see when the eclipse will start, please click here. This is a countdown that will show you how long it is before the eclipse starts and it automatically adjusts for your time zone.

All of the same rules we have in the subreddit will apply over there and both Hanos and I will be present for the duration of the event.

We just thought this would be a fun event for the subreddit, no pressure for anyone to join or stay for the entire duration. You can come and go as you like. You are welcome, but not required to chat in the Discord if you don't want to. If you're a shy person and you just wanna come hang out with us, that's totally fine, too.

We encourage (but do not require) everyone to pick a server username that is at least similar to their username here, so everyone has an idea of who everyone else is. Hanos will be "STT" and I will be "c_o_r_e_y."

Right now, as we prepare for the event, we're trying to get a quick head-count for how many people are going to be present.

It's totally okay if you say you will be and then you aren't, for whatever reason. This is just to give us a rough idea of how many people to expect.
