Maybe demisexual?

Title basically says it all lol. In my head, demisexual means you can be attracted to anyone as long as you form some sort of emotional/deeper connection than just getting to know someone, physical, hanging out, etc. I consider myself more attracted to masculine aspects so I'd definitely say I'm gay, but I'm open lol. Lately I've been finding that sex that's just hooking up, first dates, small talk, etc. just don't interest me, but when I get to know a person, it becomes a whole different thing. I'm not sure if that is demisexual nor do I really need a label, but it would be nice to be able to be up front and say "Hey, I'm demisexual, not much is going to happen unless we get to know each other on a deeper level if you wanna spend the time" since we are in a hookup culture type of world. That's probably a lot of explaining for a simple question, but when is sexuality ever simple? Lol
