Dealer swapped older tires after TÜV - is this legal?
In February I bought a used car from a dealer. Before selling it to me, they had the car go through a TÜV inspection, which it passed with 2015 summer tires (those are also super old I guess but in good enough condition that they passed the TÜV).
However, after the TÜV was done but before handing the car over to me, they swapped the tires for older winter tires from 2014. I only realized this later after checking the DOT numbers
This feels shady because the car was technically inspected with newer tires, but I received it with older ones. From what I understand, TÜV only has a strict age limit of 10 years for tires.
I got the summer tires too btw.
Is this legal, or could it be considered fraud? Do I have any options here, besides being more careful next time when inspecting the car xD
