[Landlord US-OH] Do I pay a Property Manager if the only thing I need help with is finding a Renter?
Hello all, we are renting out our downtown condo for the first time. I paid a lawyer to draft a lease and got the condo professional cleaned and ready to rent. However, we are struggling with finding renter(s).
Since it’s a condo with very low maintenance and we live 2 miles away with flexible work from home jobs, I didn’t see the need to hire a property manager. We have listed the condo on Facebook Marketplace and Zillow but haven’t had anyone even scheduled to tour. Our price is competitive compared to comps and we are furnishing, paying most utilities, and including a downtown parking spot that could run up to $300 a month by itself.
We have had it listed for about 2 weeks with no bites, do you think it’s time to hire a property manager? We just need to get some traction at this point because we can’t cover 2 mortgages forever. Thanks for your help in advance
