How to share the source code?

Like, i created a simple periodic table quiz game in python and then used pypinstaller to also make an exe file, then i posted it on Github, I know the exe file is considered dangerous as you can't really understand what's inside or something so i uploaded the python file also, so is that what is means uploading the source code? How do they know it is the same program in those?
