First time thoughts on Vapnatak

Like every time I listen to a heilung a song

The first part feels like someone warning others about Vikings coming to attack the village. Our MC is outside in the cold, during winter seeing the Vikings come down the hill, riding their horses

Then the Vikings reach the village and start brutally killing people and stabbing them and such. Meanwhile there is a potential thunderstorm going

Then we cut into the present, where the MC tells the story to us, and we still hear the tragedy in the background he suffered through. Showing how he still hasn't moved on.
