H1B renewal - when does the employer/legal team reach out?

Hi - my H1B is up for renewal on September 25th 2025. The earliest I believe my legal team can submit my renewal is 6 months prior ie March 25th. Do they reach out to you? Or do you reach out to them? Not sure if I should be waiting to hear from my legal team….
