Calibration selections in 3 places!?

There is a calibration in Creality Print, there is one when you select the file on the printer and slide it over to enable calibration, and then there are the calibration test selections in the settings. There is also a separate "calibration" tab which im not even including in this question.

What do these three selections enable specifically? If i want to do a bed mesh prior to the print, but not flow or pressure advance, which boxes do i check?
