I (20M) have a crush on a classmate (20F), but she's studying abroad and is only here for a semester. I'm not sure if I should pursue things

There's a girl (20F) in my class who I've (20M) developed a crush on. She's very pretty and we have good conversations. I'd love to ask her out sometime, but she's from another country and is only here for one semester. Also, I'm planning on transferring back to my old school halfway across the country. That shouldn't be too much of a problem since she's leaving at the end of the year, but I don't know if I want to pursue things if she's going to never come back. I feel like that wouldn't work out, and I haven't asked her if she plans on working in the US when she graduates. She's just studying abroad and I don't think I can build something with her because of that. I'm planning to ask her what her plans are eventually, but if she's never coming back, I don't think we could be together. I'm wondering how people here think I should approach things?
