I "love" my job here in the UAE

Not to brag or anything just feeling cute today and felt like sharing.I'm a techie here in the uae and every morning, I wake up with existential dread... because it’s another glorious day of being stuck in traffic surrounded by idiots while i go to work. Shit im late again. My colleagues? Absolutely inspiring, especially Mahmood, who schedules meetings at 8am! Why, Mahmood? Why?!. I'm late again.. My boss? A true visionary—constantly pushing me to my limits, mostly by piling on tasks last minute.

The pay? fantastic! I haven't recieved it for the past 3 months but when i do... I get a whole two days off to recover from doing the needful, unless Mahmood is sending urgent emails again. Remote work is a dream, mainly because it means my home is now also my office. Gym? Gymantion isnt cancelling my subscription.. Social life? Nah man, we got workplace synergy!

But the best part? The unlimited growth opportunities...as long as you define growth as doing three people's jobs for the price of one. Can’t wait to stay here until I’m mentally drained and no longer have a valid visa…don't be shy, share your story too, I can't be the only one...
