Internship Query

Hi, I'm in 2nd year(ECE) rn, and have 7.2 cgpa. I want to apply for internships for 3rd year, in companies like Microsoft ,for next year's summer program. Does my cgpa effects my chances even if I got good dsa skills and leetcode profile?
